Elysian is our boldest and strongest coffee, containing 100% Robusta beans. 

Our Robusta is a blend of two stages of ripening, 70% and 100%. The 100% ripened beans contribute to the body, intensity, and bitterness of the blend, while the 70% ripened beans add a delicate and subtle sweet touch that complements the overall flavor.

One of the defining characteristics of Robusta beans is their high caffeine content. In fact, Robusta beans contain almost twice as much caffeine as Arabica beans, which contributes to their intense and invigorating flavor. Robusta beans are also known for their bold, earthy notes and full-bodied texture. Additionally, Robusta has a slightly nutty or chocolatey flavor, which adds to their complexity and depth.
